The Water Rats are a tribe in series one. They play imaginative games with fellow tribe — The Menaces. Ami became part of the tribe for a short while, before rejoining The Sparticles when he found out they were just playing pretend.

The Water Rats[]
Dennis had the lough key, but he refused to give it to The Water Rats. The Sparticles thought this was real and did not know it was a game the two tribes played. So when he threw it in the lough, Ami decided to try and get it out for The Water Rats using his years of gymnast training. He threw Sadiq a rope and used it to hang above the water. He couldn't reach it, until Sadiq encouraged him and told him to swing. So he started swinging and was able to reach it and get the key.
